For my lack of movie watching in January, I sure made up for it throughout February! I will just thank the snow for keeping me inside a lot of nights that I wanted to avoid going out into the cold for giving me the time to sit down and watch quite a few movies lately.
9. Peter and Vandy. ✭ ✭
This film stars Jason Ritter and Jess Weixler in an out of order sequence type of film surrounding their relationship. This movie is not made for people that cannot follow a movie fi it is out of order, but if you can keep up, then you might be bale to enjoy this movie a little bit more. Following the similar styling from movies such as Comet and (500) Days of Summer, this movie was not as enjoyable to me, even if it did star Jason Ritter, an actor I have always had a soft spot for thanks to some of his roles (mostly just his supporting role in Parenthood). Some parts were a little confusing because you did not know exactly which part in the relationship it was from, but I found the movie to be very monotone and not excite me as much as the other movies I mentioned. One thing is for sure, I am never letting Jason Ritter near me with peanut butter, and you will have to watch the movie to understand that one.
10. The Object Of My Affection. ✭ ✭ ✭
I am taking it back to the year of 1998 with this Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd film. I have had this film on my list for quite a while now and have not gotten around to actually watching it until now. From what I knew about this movie from the trailer was that it was a tale of a woman and man becoming best friends, but Paul Rudd’s character is a gay man and if Jennifer Aniston was to develop feelings that this could end up being not such a happy go lucky movie as it leads on. I can say that I thought the movie wrapped up nicely and had a good solid ending, and would recommend it to anyone that is a fan of either of the main actors and have a soft spot for movies from the 90s.
