After many visits to the Sephora website, I finally gave in a actually placed an order instead of pressing the button to clear my shopping cart. I’ve only done this once before, due to the fact that I shop in stores often enough to satisfy my cosmetics obsession, but one too many things caught my eye and I was feeling quite content with not leaving my house. So this is what I gave in and ordered, and what else came in the box.

› ORIGINS Checks and Balance Frothy Face Wash — Buying something to clean your face can never be a bad thing, right? A lot of my purchases share something in common lately, and that they are mostly all recommendations from beauty bloggers and vloggers. This one has been mentioned more than once lately, and I’m already a fan of the Ginzing refreshing eye cream and energy-boosting moisturizer, so giving in and buying this wasn’t a hard debate.

› tarte Butter Lipstick — I’m a big fan of the tarte cosmetics line and own quick a handful of their products, but this is a new product that I hadn’t seen in stores yet. As I have an inability to stop buying lipsticks, and being easily drawn in by great packaging, I selected the shade “Tulip” which is a mauve rose shade and now I own it. I’m definitely interested to see how a “butter lipstick” compares to all the other lipsticks. Anything moisturizing is a bonus these days.

› stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner — This is one of my staple products. Since I’ve been using it I haven’t been able to use any other eye liner, it’s that good! It stays on all day and is really easy to apply. It is my not-so-secret weapon when it comes to my eye makeup and my often done cat eye makeup.

› NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer — Another recommendation, another purchase. I’ve come very close to finding the perfect concealer, but I’m always on the hunt if there is a better one out there. Here’s hoping that this one does the trick, or at least better than all the others I’ve tested and settled with using in the meantime. It’s creamy, but it’s not supposed to leave your skin looking oily. Expect a review of this one and how it fares in comparison to the rest soon!

Not only am I happy with my purchases, besides actually having used them yet, but I’m also very pleased with the amount of free bonus goodies that came in my package. Thanks to the emails that Sephora sends out, I used one of the codes to get a free pack of oils and creams. Thirteen samples, for free! I don’t want to confuse my skin too much by using a new product every day, but I might test one out every now and then, and if it’s good enough I’ll consider purchasing the full size version. And as every online Sephora order, I picked out 3 of the offered samples at the time: Givenchy Mister Light Instant Light Corrective Pen, XXY Face Cream, and Bumble & Bumble Thickening Shampoo and Coniditoner. I’m drowning in a sea of samples now.
