OOTD: The Lancaster Sweater

Sometimes an oversized, loose-hanging sweater becomes your favourite clothing item and you wear it as often as possible. This has happened to me with this sweater I purchased on sale at Aritzia. This is the Talula Lancaster Sweater. Comfy as ever, and the perfect sweater for the cold weather we’ve been having lately. My only downfalls with this sweater are 1) it has special washing instructions, as do most of my clothes these days, so it’s not a simple “throw in the washer and dryer” deal and 2) it kind of itches at the neckline after a while. If the fuzziness rubs against my neck for long enough it will become irritated. But those faults aside, I still am in love with this sweater and am tempted to buy it in other patterns/colours.

First of all, that’s my cat Nelson. I decided to include him in this post because, well, look at that cat model face. Secondly, this is the Villains & Co.’s 187 Beanie Black/White, and since I’ve discovered my love of toques (or beanies), I’ve been wearing it a lot since it came in the mail. This hat has a bit of a story behind it. I was out celebrating a friend’s birthday on a Friday night and when I got home I wasn’t really sleepy after 2am. I decided to go online and somehow ended up on this website and went through with purchasing it. I do not regret this purchase at all! I’m very glad I finally ordered it because I’ve had my eyes on it for a while, I just needed that extra push (those couple drinks) to make the purchase.
