I told you there was going to be a part two to the July Beauty Haul because the first one was already overflowing with products. This is the continuation of my recent purchases, so let’s jump right in!
› Amika Mighty Mini Very Cherry Styler — The only hair styling tool besides your basic hair blowdryer that I own is a Chi flat iron which I’ve had for probably close to 10 years now. Don’t quote me on that though. I never actually straighten my hair with it because I only use it to curl my hair these days, but it’s a shame when you can’t do up some nice easy curls when you’re not home. I saw this in the check out line in Sephora and decided to buy this mini styler for whenever I want to make my hair a bit fanicer when I’m not at home. The coral colour and the cherry print pattern on the case are pretty bright and colourful too!
› TopShop Molten Eyes in Lilac Rain — I couldn’t seem to leave Topshop without picking up a new product to try and ended up with this creamy eyeshadow stick in a metallic shiny purple shade which was actually quite the beautiful colour on my eyelids. Throughout the day I felt as if I could feel it harden a bit, so next time I will prime my eyelids before applying it. Very easy application and I wish they had some neutral colour options as well because they would probably look fantastic.
› NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna — One of the holy grail bronzing products has finally made its way into my makeup collection! I picked up this famously known bronzer on my last trip to Sephora because I wanted to see what all the hype was about. It’s slightly darker than what I’m used to using lately with the Body Shop Honey Bronzer, but the colour pay-off is the perfect shade and definitely more noticeable on the skin, but not in a bad way at all. I’m glad I can finally play around with this and what more of a perfect time than summer!
› L’Oréal Paris Casting Sunkissed Jelly — This product is pretty much the new and improved jelly form of the classic hair lightening product Sun In. I’ve only applied one application of this so far and put heat on it with a hairdryer, but I am really excited to continuously use this product to see how much lighter I can get my hair! Keep an eye on my upcoming posts for photos to gradually hopefully see my hair get lighter.
› Rimmel Match Perfection Blush in 001 Light — The last thing I needed was another blush in my collection, but I was holding this one and decided to make one last blush addition for the next while. I made the judgement call because it was a drugstore brand blush product and not a really expensive one from Sephora that could have been triple the price. This combination of shades in this palette almost look like a blush-bronzer-highlight trio all-in-one product, but when i swirl my brush through it, the warm blush toned colour that goes onto my cheeks is a very neutral looking rose-toned blush colour that I have been really happy with for the past week or so. I have hardly touched my other blush items since I started using this one, unless I wanted to add a slightly different colour toned blush on my cheeks as well.
