The Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayons

Bite Beauty has always been a brand that I have always wanted to explore more into. The range of lip products and all the different forms of products to achieve such pigmented colours amazes me. I have purchased a few of the limited rose scented lipsticks a while back. Although the scent was lovely, they never made that big of an impression on me. They eventually found their way to my overflow of lip products in a basket somewhere.

I was graciously given the opportunity to try out a few of the Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayons. I love the simplicity of a lip crayon type product. Although they usually aren’t the most long lasting, especially with creamier formula, it is easy enough to apply and reapply that I can look past that.

The Lip Crayon Shades

The three colours I received were perfect, as they were colours I would have picked for myself. Cava is the online exclusive shade of the range and Sephora refers to it as a lilac beige. I refer to it as a very light purple-toned mauve. I remember hearing a lot about the shade Glacé, a dusty mauve with more of a pinky undertone. Every collection needs a red, and the shade Red Velvet is exactly that as a rich, deep red. I likely will reach for the lighter shades more often because they are easier to reapply and not as much hassle as a vibrant red. Although they do put up quite the fight for staying power, they do transfer and wear off faster than a liquid lipstick.

It’s always great to have a lipstick product that is creamy enough not to leave your lips feeling dry. These Bite Beauty lip crayons just made the perfect addition to my collection as my latest obsession.
