If I told you that I used a cleanser every single night when removing my makeup, that would be a lie. I can be lazy, that’s for sure. I often reach for a makeup removing or cleansing wipe of some sort to make my face look clean. Deep down I know that more cleansing needs to be done, and I have become a lot more strict about that. I am juggling a bunch of different cleansing options at the moment, such as my new favourite balm (which you can read about here).
Garnier Micellar Water Products
For my lazier days, Garnier has me covered. Garnier has a few different micellar water options to really help me fight the makeup residue. They kindly gifted me the SkinActive Micellar Water All-in-1 Cleansing Water for Waterproof Makeup without even knowing that I was running low. This cleansing water really helps dissolves makeup while cleansing my skin with very minimal rubbing. The formula is not drying and still manages to leave my skin feeling very refreshed. With this micellar water, I don’t feel as lazy because it is actually removing a lot of product from my face. It removes more than Glossier’s Milky Jelly Cleanser, that’s for sure!
To match with the micellar water, it was also accompanied by the matching SkinActive Waterproof Makeup Removing Micellar Wipes. I am a sucker for cleansing wipes, but I can be very picky with them. I have tried a few brands over the years, and have always come back to my Aveeno Positively Radiant wipes. The Simple wipes are not an option for me anymore because my skin just doesn’t get along with them. Garnier may have just beat the competition when it comes to the wipes. They are ultra-cleansing from being soaked in micellar water, removing the hardest waterproof makeup possible. The packaging that they come in re-seals perfectly, and that is always a big concern with many packages. You never want the wipes to dry out if not sealed up properly. I will be switching to these wipes here on out. Reasonably priced, great product, great packaging. I’m sold!
