Guerlain is a high-end brand that I always admired, but have never tried. That is until now. They recently launched their brand new age-defying range of products in their Abeille Royale collection. This collection uses the repairing properties of black bee honey as the key ingredient. I have been lucky enough to have been gifted two products from the range to test out for myself. This includes the Youth Watery Oil and the Repairing Honey Gel Mask.
The Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil
This extremely luxurious oil, in formulation and presentation, is the star of the show. First of all, if the bottle that this comes in isn’t captivating enough for you, my mind is blown. The bottle is gorgeous from the bee emblem to the honey-tinted glass, to the dropper applicator. The “watery oil” itself is a formula that is a perfect balance between serum and oil. Sometimes oil can feel too greasy, but this one feels like water on your skin. Its lightweight formula allows the skin to get all the nutrients as it dissolves into the skin very quickly. This face oil helps your skin look and feel much smoother, plumper, and brighter. All these effects will make your skin look youthful in appearance, hence the name of the oil.
The Abeille Royale Repairing Honey Gel Mask
The honey-rich mask is another product in the Abeille Royale collection that is going to help your skin look and feel its best. This facial treatment works to repair and replenish dehydrated skin. Its formula includes raw, organic honey and Guerlain’s Pure Royal Concentrate, which will restore your skin with hydration. promoting firmer, more radiant, and nourished skin is what this mask aims to do for you. It has a very lightweight consistency, and it a gel mask as it states in the name. It is recommended to use 1-2 times a week after using toner. You apply and leave the mask on for 10 minutes and then rinse off to reveal your healthy looking skin. I love trying new masks and this one almost seems too luxurious to use, but I will enjoy every moment of it.
Have you tried any of the skincare products from Guerlain yet? Or even their beauty products? Let me know in the comments below! Also, I want to say a big thank you to Guerlain for sending along the jars of nude honey as well. It just so happens that it was something missing in my kitchen.
