I have been a pretty big fan of the Sunday Riley skin care brand and the products I have tried from them up to this point. I considered Good Genes a holy grail item at one point, and still secretly think it is. The U.F.O. Ultra Clarifying Facial Oil has always been a constant on my counter as well for when I feel I need the extra help from that oil’s mattifying benefits. I took my time using the Ceramix Slip Clay Cleanser up to cherish every moment of its goodness, but have been trying out different cleansers since.
Adding Tidal to My Collection
I have wanted to expand my testing experience with the brand and try more products. When it comes to higher priced skin care, adding it slowly is the only option. The brand itself has decided to help me along my journey. They kindly sent me the next product to try and hopefully fall in love with. The Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream is the newest addition to my moisturizer collection. It also easily found its way into my current top favourites.
This moisturizer goes above and beyond just the normal task of providing hydration for your skin. You kind of have to do more in today’s market to rise above the rest, or at least be seen in a crowd of other similar products. Tidal is a moisturizing treatment that helps with brightening and refining your skin, in the form of a water cream. Not quite gel, not quite cream… but that sweet spot right in between. It is a punch to the face when it comes to hydration, feeling extremely refreshing after every application. It also is a great solution to help with dark spots and easing fine lines and wrinkles.
The hydration comes from hyaluronic acid and tamarind extract, providing an immense amount of moisture and plumping properties to your skin. I can definitely notice an increase in my skin’s moisture levels throughout the day as it sticks around. It doesn’t fade away within an hour and leave your skin feeling dry again for quite a long time. Another key ingredient is papaya extract, which helps smooth the skin’s surface as you wear it. Hydrating, pumping, and smoothing. Three amazing benefits in one moisturizing treatment!
I am so grateful to continuously be trying out new moisturizers, but it takes a lot for one to stay in my daily routine. There are a couple that I love, so I give them different purposes, such as for the morning or evening. Tidal has been dubbed my evening moisturizer to help with hydrating and plumping throughout the night as I sleep. Some days I will use as morning and night depending on how my skin is doing.
